Overall Reflection

Salam readers,

Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah that we have reached to the end of this course, and by this time we have done lots of study related to CALL and also in relation Literary Criticism specifically Feminism. We have looked at Feminism through the Westerners's perspectives and also from Islam's perspective. Summarizing up what we have learnt throughout the semester are shown below:

1) Knowledge
  • We learnt new things upon Feminism from both perspectives - prevent us from becoming blind followers
  • We learnt new terminologies regarding learning and teaching through computer.
  • We learnt how to make use of the technology in assisting our works better.
2) Excitement
  • We have more passion in doing our task as working with technology is very easy, efficient and interesting. in fact, we are eager to do assignment since we are exposed to the technology.
  • We get to learn new things such as creating, drafting and editing our blog to make our blog to be more appealing upon reader's eyes.
  • We are able to practice the theories rather than just reading information from the slides
3) Islamic values
  • Western feminism and Islamic feminism is similar in a sense that they both support women freedom. However they are different in terms of their approach in reaching their goals.
  • It teach us to be patience while struggling to do our assignments.
  • It teach us to be hardworking and to be istiqamah when doing our assignments.
  • Strengthen our ukhuwwah in the process of searching for knowledge together.
  • Enhance our leadership skill when doing the task in the group.

That's all from us, and we pray that may Allah bless our knowledge and understanding. InsyaAllah and Amin.
